A Call to Put Faith into Action Through the Power of the Cross

Novena.jpg

The Word of God is filled with promises, from peace and prosperity to healing and deliverance. For some, these promises may not hold much significance because they don’t truly believe in the truth of God’s Word. There are also those who believe, yet have never personally experienced these promises coming to life.

Whatever your case may be, God invites us all to test His Word. As He says in Malachi 3:10: “And try Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.”

Unless you challenge His Word, how will you know if it works? This is the essence of the Novena of the Challenge of the Cross – a special nine-week purpose for those who wish to see the promises of God fulfilled in their lives.

But why the Cross?

The Bible explains in Colossians 2:14–15: “Having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.”

On the Cross, the Lord Jesus defeated every power of darkness, every curse, and every accusation that stood against humanity. His sacrifice was not only for the forgiveness of sins, but also to restore what was lost – peace, strength, good health, and direct access to God’s promises. Those who come to the Cross can claim those same victories in their own lives.

So, if you want to see God’s Word materialize, particularly concerning your health and well-being, we invite you to join us at your nearest Universal Church on Tuesday. Come ready for the challenge – not with doubt, but with faith – and witness what happens when you take God at His Word.
