Mega wedding was a great blessing as we witnessed seven couples getting married in the presence of God. Many of them had been living together for years but had not had the opportunity to have their marriage blessed by God on the altar.

 

From the moment the brides walked down the aisle to the heartfelt vows exchanged between each couple, every moment was filled with faith and happiness. It was a joyous occasion that will be remembered for years to come. This Mega wedding was a historic event in PNG.

And we look forward to many more to come.

 

Pastor Jonathan said: “Unfortunately there are those who are now celebrating divorce and separation, so we are promoting what is good and should be celebrated and cherished because marriage was created by God and what God has put together let no man separate the pastor preached reading from the book of Mathew:

 

“So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.””

Sargent Koivi and Ms Janet Koivi were among those who those who got married before God after 31 years living together and they were very happy to finally have God’s blessing over their relationship.

 

We also want to thank the department of Religion for their support in helping the couples to get their marriage certificate.
