The Love Walk 2025 took place on October 11, 2025, at Adventure Park, Port Moresby, marking the third edition of the event in Papua New Guinea. More than 600 people — couples and singles — participated in this special morning of reflection and connection in Port Moresby, Lae and Arawa
Organized by the Universal Church through inspired by Bishop Renato Cardoso and his wife Mrs Cristiane Cardoso, the Love Walk promotes dialogue, understanding, and spiritual growth in relationships.
Held simultaneously in more than 70 countries, the event encourages participants to step away from daily distractions and focus on meaningful conversation, forgiveness, and unity.
The walk began with an opening prayer, messages on faith and love, followed by guided discussions along the park’s scenic paths. Inspired by the verse Amos 3:3 — “Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?” — the initiative reminds everyone that true love is not just a feeling but a daily decision to walk together in harmony and faith.
The 2025 edition reaffirmed the growing impact of the Love Walk in Papua New Guinea, spreading the message that love is built step by step — with God at the center Bishop Jonathan of the Universal Church in PNG spoke to the couples about “being careful with small problems that are not dealt with and end up developing and causing big problems since there is no communication and it is not addressed.”
This year also had a special moment to answer questions and give guidance for those who were single at the single’s hour.
If you are interested to learn about intelligent love, you can attend our Love Therapy service every Thursday at 10am or 5pm at a Universal church near you.
